Chapter 1
Liz stared at the atrocity with wide eyed speculation.
"Eww, gross," she squeamed nearly vomiting. And while it was a truly disgusting site, she couldn't NOT look. It was like a car wreck that you see on the side of the road. You want to turn away, but you're like a deer caught frozen in the headlights.
"Johnny take out your trash for the love of everything good and holy!" Liz spat. Johnny, a 24 year old junior illustrator and was Liz's cubicle mate and was a sloth even at his cleanest of moments. Johnny and Liz worked for Stix and Stones Graphics an up and coming illustration company that specialized in t-shirt designs and CD art. Liz however was a senior illustrator and nearly two years younger then Johnny, but that's how the game goes when you're more talented then the slob next to you.
Liz wasn't the cleanest of people either, but at least she was good enough to take out her trash when it began to spill out onto the floor. Liz thought she was a pleasant person to work with, she didn't bother a lot of people, or wear over bearing perfume, the only thing a person could complain about her was her violently red hair. But working in the scene that she did, half the people in her building had equally shocking colors of hair. To add to her rather unique characteristics she had icy blue, nearly silver eyes that off set her hair. She wasn't pale by any means, despite what you might be thinking. In fact she had a rather pleasant olive skin tone, slender but not skinny, and a style all her own.
Most of the boys, who weren't gay, thought she was hot but none had the nerve to actually do something about it and ask her out. Johnny was probably the only hetero guy in the building that actually felt comfortable around her, they were best friends and had been since Liz had started at the company. Johnny and Liz worked as a team, that's why they shared cubicles. And they had a meeting with their boss, Mitch that morning at 10 AM. Liz decided to ignore the garbage heap until after the meeting and dashed into the elevator with Johnny just behind her. They had both dressed to impress, any meeting with Mitch was a chance to beg for time off, which they were rarely afforded. Johnny's tie was crooked, again. Liz stepped in front of him to adjust it,
"I swear if you weren't so damn pretty, I'd have to kill you."
Johnny shrugged as he lifted his chin to make room for the tightness of the tie. It was true, Johnny was nice to look at, but damn near annoying to talk to. He had jet black choppy hair, the kind of hair that looked like he had taken a weed wacker to his head on purpose. And then turquoise eyes, and deathly pale skin. He was so Liz's kind of guy, but she'd never admit it.
"You look good today," Johnny commented as Liz stepped back to inspect her work.
"I know," Liz sighed.
"Love your sense of modesty," Johnny snorted.
"You and me both babe."
The elevator doors opened and they walked out into the waiting room where Mitch's secretary was sitting behind her desk, filing her nails when she should have been filing paper work.
She was chewing gum, and didn't even bother to look up when Liz came up to her, "Just go right in, he's waiting for you," She smacked. Liz and Johnny walked into Mitch's office, and shut the door behind them.
Mitch was a tall man, close to 40 with tattoo's and a bald head. Most of the time he had a scowl on his face, but this time he was smiling, which rarely ever happened. Liz and Johnny sat down in the two upholstered chairs that sat across from the head of Mitch's desk. Liz was always the strong one in meetings, and Johnny always said the things that made it so they both worked weekends.
"On time for once," Mitch stated. "I can see Liz has been cracking her whip behind you, hasn't she Johnny?"
"More then you know," Johnny joked laughing, but then quickly shut up as he saw the look on Liz's face.
"Look kids, you're my best illustrator's in the entire building no matter what Ivan says."
Ivan was their competition, a scrawny 20 year old from Houston.
"And that's why I've chosen you two to head up our latest project and newest clients."
"And who would that be sir?" Johnny asked.
"I got a call last week from Reprise Records saying that they'd like our best illustrators on the job for the latest CD that one of their artists is putting out."
"Which artist?" Liz asked.
"They're one of your favorites, I hear you blaring their music whenever I'm down at the shop...My Chemical Romance."
Liz wanted to cheer, but refrained and kept up her professional manner. My Chemical Romance, was by far her favorite band of all time.
"Thank you sir!" Johnny exclaimed, displaying Liz's and his own enthusiasm.
"You'll be having lunch with...a couple of the band members tomorrow. DON'T be late! Here's a number where you can reach them," Mitch handed Liz a slip of paper with nine random numbers on it. "Set things up, and be professional, this is our biggest client yet. And it may be just the thing to get this company up off the ground."
"Yes sir," Liz nodded.
"Now get to work you two, and don't let me down," Mitch concluded. Liz stood up, she didn't care any more about asking for time off, she had work to do.
"Uh, sir...would it be possible to--" Johnny began.
"Thank you sir," Liz snatched Johnny up by the arm and began dragging him out of Mitch's office. "We won't disappoint." When they were outside, Liz did a little victory dance around the coffee table in the waiting room.
"What the hell Liz? I was gonna ask for Friday off!" Johnny exclaimed.
"Nope can't," Liz said slightly panting still dancing, "We've got work to do!" She continued dancing on into the elevator.
"Why are you still dancing?" Johnny asked irritated.
"Because," Liz jumped, "It's MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!!"
"So?"
"It's the best band, EVER!!"
"Says you."
"Yeah me, and a million others all over the world!" Liz exclaimed.
Johnny shook his head, "You're gonna be all googly tomorrow aren't you?"
Liz frowned, "I'm not the one who's notorious for being an ass."
"Too true, Lizabella."
"Don't call me that," Liz frowned again.
"Why, it's your name!" Johnny protested as they got off the elevator and went into their cubicle.
"Yeah but only my mom calls me that."
Chapter 2
Johnny had to call and make the arrangements, because Liz couldn't stop bouncing off the walls. They made arrangements to meet at Nuemo's Pizzeria one of Johnny and Liz's many favorite lunch spots. Liz sat across from Johnny, slightly shaking. She had changed her clothes three times that morning, she wanted to make just the right impression. She had settled on an extremely short black jeans skirt, a black camisole and her ever trusty chuck taylor sneakers.
"Would you calm down," Johnny whispered over to her.
"I can't!" Liz pleaded, "It's like a dream come true!" Liz gasped as she looked towards the door.
"Did they say who all was coming?" She whispered to Johnny.
"Gerard and Frank."
Liz squealed.
"Cool it, Lizzy."
But she couldn't as the two boys walked towards her and Johnny, they were all smiles when they approached.
"Hey! You must be Liz and Johnny, right?" Gerard asked extending his hand towards Liz. She took it graciously and was going to shake until he brought to his lips for a peck. "Johnny didn't mention how hot you were."
Liz blushed, "He isn't the brightest crayon in the box."
"Guess not," Gerard laughed.
"Gerard, she's not hot!" Frank exclaimed as he snatched Liz's hand from Gerard's grasp, "She's gorgeous."
Liz could have melted into a mixed pool on the chair was sitting in and died a perfectly happy girl. Frank sat down next to Liz and Gerard next to Johnny, and he began talking about what sort of concept he had in mind for the album. Liz paid attention as much as she could, but couldn't help but feel that Frank was watching her intently. She shot her eyes over to him, and sure enough his emerald gaze was upon her. Liz felt her heart jump and she fluttered her eyes back over to Gerard who was still speaking.
"And if Frank would pay attention to the conversation instead of Liz we might be able to get somewhere with the art work."
Liz saw Frank blush and reluctantly put his eyes on Gerard.
"Now then" Gerard continued.
Liz may have been looking at Gerard but her mind was else where. She wanted Frank to put his beautiful hands all over her and make love her right then and there in front of all of these people.
"Aren't you Lizzy?" Johnny said suddenly snapping Liz back into reality.
"Huh? What?"
Johnny frowned, "I said you're great a city sky lines, and creating different atmospheres....right?"
'Uh huh. I'm the best," Lizzy said listlessly.
"Great, so you guys get started on that and then get back to us. But for now let's eat!" Gerard finished.
Johnny ordered an extra extra large pizza with extra pepperoni, because only Nuemo's does it like that.
Liz sat back slowly, sipping at her soda looking everywhere but at Frank. She was afraid she might jump him if she did. Johnny and Gerard got to talking about comic books, leaving Liz and Frank to converse with one another.
"So..." He said slowly, "How long have you been working for Stix and Stones?" His bland attempt at conversation was a tad sweet to Liz, but she joined in trying to make the sexual tension between them subside.
"Two years," She replied.
"Long time," He nodded.
"Not really," Liz chuckled. Frank turned and faced her suddenly, "So I mean...like...where do you get your inspiration? The boys and I have seen a lot of your work, and it's amazing...where do you get it all from?"
"I could ask the same of you," Liz smiled, "But..I get it from...movies, music...and even my worst nightmares."
"Huh," Frank smiled. "So you got a boy friend?"
"What? No! I mean..." Liz sighed, "I don't really have the time for boys."
"Yeah me neither."
"Yeah, I'll bet the boys are really knocking your door down, huh?"
"Hell yah, they won't leave me alone!" Frank laughed. Liz smiled feeling relieved for a second.
The pizza cam and they all dug in, Liz ate as much as she wanted she didn't care who was at the table with her, she was damn hungry and she was gonna eat.
Liz finished, clearly satisfied and sat back, she felt like she might explode. They all sat there a while, letting their food settle making comments about the pictures around them.
"Well kiddies," Gerard said getting to his feet, "We gotta go, Frank and I have an early flight to LA in the morning."
Frank groaned, "I hate LA, every one is so fake there. Nothing's real."
"Yeah, we should get going too. We've got work in the morning," Johnny stood up as well putting on his coat. Liz quite honestly, didn't want to leave. She would have rather stayed right where she was with Frank by her side talking about silly stuff.
"Right Lizzy?" Johnny shot a look at Lizzy signaling that he was ready to leave right then and there.
"Yeah, yeah...okay. Just let me go use the little girls room," Liz got up and went to the back of the restaurant where the restrooms were.
"Yeah me too," Frank said getting up and following Liz.
"Frank if you're not back in five minutes I'm coming in after you and kicking your ass!" Gerard warned. Frank waved his hand back at Gerard signaling a 'what ever'.
Gerard turned towards Johnny,
"Frank's got a weakness for the ladies."
"Clearly."
Chapter 3
Lizzy stood next to the row of sinks staring at her reflection in the mirror, dabbing on lip gloss, and popping a breath mint into her mouth. She began rummaging around in her purse for her comb, she found it and promptly dropped it as she saw Frank's reflection in the mirror.
"Hey," He breathed.
Liz smiled, "What are you doing here?"
Liz could almost see the sparks between them, like a million fire crackers going off all at once.
"I don't know," Frank replied he was playing with the straps of Liz's camisole.
"You know this is the women's room, right?"
"Uh huh."
"Okay...just checking," Liz turned around slowly then Frank suddenly grabbed her and kissed her hard. He held her tenderly as he caressed his lips on hers as his hand slowly slid down her ample posterior. Liz wrapped her arms around Frank and began pushing him towards the stall just behind them. Liz slammed the door shut and Frank pressed her up against it, their lips not separating in the slightest. Frank was trying to push his legs in between Liz's, "C'mon....let me in."
Liz submitted immediately letting Frank grab her by the legs and hoist her up on top of him. Liz helped him out of his pants, letting his jeans and boxers fall to the bathroom floor. Frank didn't even bother taking off Liz's underwear, he just pushed them aside and slipped on inside of her. Frank nibbled at her neck as he thrust himself deeper and deeper into Liz, the bathroom stall door banging in time with him. Liz clawed at his back, moaning with pleasure. But Frank was going a little too slow for Liz's liking.
"Fuck me harder Frank!" Liz demanded. Frank nodded breathlessly and brought his pressure up a notch. For a moment Liz thought they might knock down the stall door, but held steady...teetering only a little. Liz could feel herself reaching her breaking point, and she knew that Frank was reaching his as well.
"Are you there?" Frank panted.
"Uh huh," was all Liz could bare to utter. Frank bit down on his lip and his driving effort increased. Liz screamed as she let it all come out, Frank moaned and pulled her hair as he finally let himself go.
Liz felt the door buckle and then come loose. She felt herself and Frank falling to the floor, they landed with a ((BAM)) on the linoleum floor. Dirt and dust flew up everywhere. Liz was still clutching Frank when the dust finally settled. They stared all around them and then burst out laughing.
"HEY!! What's going on in there?" Gerard called from outside of the restroom.
"N- nothing," Liz giggled as Frank helped her up, his pants still around his legs.
"Go," Frank whispered half laughing.
"Okay," Liz giggled and ran out the door. Gerard was standing outside with a rather disgruntled look on his face.
"The handle got stuck," Liz laughed.
"Uh huh, sure," Gerard rolled his eyes and pushed the door open to see Frank looking around rather sheepishly, pants at the ankles, cupping himself.
"It's not what it looks like," Frank insisted although he couldn't help but laugh.
Liz peaked in and burst out into giggles, but stopped suddenly when she saw the look on Gerard's face.
"I'm gonna go home now," Liz smiled.
"Yeah you do that."
Chapter 4
"Get your shit together and come on!" Gerard hissed.
"Okay," Frank pulled his pants up clumsily and went tripping out of the door.
"Try to be more professional for Christ's sake!"
"I am! Y-you...be the--more...professional," Frank buckled his pants up and walked out of the restaurant where Liz and Johnny were outside hailing a cab. Frank went right up to Liz placing his hand firmly on her backside and squeezing,
"When can I see you again, gorgeous?"
Liz giggled, "That's all dependent on you, slugger."
"Okay...I'll call you," Frank whispered in her ear as Gerard began yanking him away down the other end of the street.
---
"You jack ass!!" Gerard spat as he finally let go of Frank once they were well away from Liz and Johnny.
"What? I couldn't help myself," Frank complained.
"Of course not, do you ever think with your brain instead of your dick?"
"Don't start with me Gerard, please," Frank insisted.
"Did you ever think how complicated things could get if you got involved with her? Think about it man, what she might find out??" Gerard shrieked.
Frank fell silent as they walked along, with his hands in his pockets staring at his feet.
"Frank...you....you can't get involved with this girl. I don't care how much you may like her, it isn't the professional thing to do....she could get hurt. And in more ways then one."
Frank stopped and stared at Gerard, "Is that a threat?"
"If it'll keep you away from her, then yes it is," Gerard continued walking.
"And if I don't?" Frank tested.
Gerard stopped, turned around, and came charging towards Frank like a speeding bull. He grabbed Frank by the neck and pushed him into a nearby alleyway.
"DO NOT FUCK WITH ME FRANK!!" Gerard roared, "I will not hesitate to remove you!"
Frank was pushed up against a brick wall, but despite Gerard's efforts he was not the least bit scared.
"Don't kid yourself Gerard, you can't do a lick of work without me and you know it."
"You want Liz chopped up into little bits and hidden in the walls like Sally Sullivan was? Is that what you want, hmm? 'Cause I can make it happen Frank!"
"Shut your mouth Gerard, you wouldn't be where you are now if it weren't for me."
"Don't over estimate your standing in this Frank. You don't have the place to be making accusations like that."
"What accusations? You can't do one job without a bottle of pepto in your pocket. And that's
